Facilities inaugurated in 2011, in the business park of Vila Pouca de Aguiar, which comprise a covered area with about 5000m2 and 1500m2 of outdoor area. Here the wines are stored and made some pre-bottling oenological operations, such as, filtration and stabilization. For this, this center has an excellent storage capacity, totally in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently, all our wines are bottled or packaged, having for this purpose 6 filling lines equipped with the latest technology in oenological machines.


Production capacity of filling lines

  • Bottle Line 1: 3000 bottles / hour still wines

  • Bottle Line 2: 6000 bottles / hour carbonated wines

  • Bag in Box Line 1: 700 bib / hour

  • Bag in Box Line 2: 400 bib / hour

  • Tetra Pack Line: 6000 packs /hour with 1L screw cap

  • Pet Line: 900 bottles / hour

Bottle Line 1: Bottle production 75 cl, 37.5 cl, 100 cl and 150 cl;
Bottle Line 2: production in cylinders of various formats and with several bearings, such as screw cap or sparkling stopper among others;

Lines of bib: production of Bag in Box of 3L, 5L, 10L or 20L.

Center for Winemaking and Bottling of DOC Douro, and Moscatel Douro DOC.

 

Facilities located in Vinhós, Peso da Régua, where our wines DOC Douro and Moscatel Douro Doc are vinified and bottled.

The company has about 25 hectares of vineyards in the Douro Demarcated Region, spread over 4 farms, plus another 24 hectares in the planting stage of the Moscatel variety.

Quinta D’Entremontes

Vineyard area: 7 Hectares

Grape varieties: Moscatel Galego

 

Quinta de Valepêrro

Vineyard area: 8 Hectares

Grape varieties used: Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Sousão.

 

Quinta do Souto

Vineyard area: 7 Hectares

Grape varieties used: Moscatel Galego, Viosinho, Rabigato and Malvasia Fina

 

Soils

The soils of our farms are characterized by being schist, thus providing a set of essential minerals and acidity. This type of soil protects the roots and maintains stable levels of humidity, which allows to obtain very aromatic wines of great quality.

This type of soil is one of the best that characterizes the Doutro demarcated region, since they help to a good drainage and the expansion of the roots of the vines in, deep.
